Position Overview: 

We are currently seeking talented and passionate individuals to join our team as Community Manager & Customer Service Representative. You will be responsible for managing and engaging our Mindbug community on our communication platforms. The remote freelance contract will be for ~40 hours/month and a payment in function of the amount of handled support inquiries during the month. 


Responsibilities as Community Manager: 

  • You apply our internal moderation guidelines and cooperate with voluntary moderators and other CMs to maintain the Community platforms as friendly environments. 
  • You actively onboard and retain new players and address their questions, issues and concerns. 
  • You build sustainable and positive relationships of trust with our players and key-influencers. 
  • You keep our players informed about game updates, events and other important news. 
  • You provide regular feedback to the game team on community sentiment, trends, ideas and needs. 
  • You pro-actively plan and execute regular events to engage the community. 


Responsibilities as Community Manager: 

  • You help our players with questions, inquiries and issues regarding account, products and billing via written communication. 
  • You build sustainable and positive relationships of trust with our players. 
  • You forward possible bug entries and technical issues to our Developers. 
  • You resolve suspension-based issues with clear explanations. 
  • You take care of the knowledgebase management to provide helpful information for the players. 


Your Skills: 

  • You are a passionate gamer, ideally experienced with digital strategy card games like Marvel Snap or Legends of Runeterra. 
  • You are a team player with a high level of independence, self-organization and collaborative personality. 
  • You have previous experience in moderating an online community and answering players’ inquiries. 
  • You pay attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • You have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions. 
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
